The Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts awarded Centre County Report its highest honor — Best of Festival (News Competition – Student) — for the April 4, 2025 episode, which showcased exceptional broadcast journalism anchored by Francie Ebert.
In the 2025 CBI Awards (College Broadcasters Inc. national student production awards), the Centre County Report earned 1st Place for Best Newscast (Video) with outstanding multimedia journalism, highlighting the efforts of Penn State University and Francie Ebert.
Additionally, the 2025 CBI Awards recognized the excellence in sports reporting, awarding Penn State University 3rd Place for the video titled 'Penn State Adaptive Athletics Program is Growing,' also featuring Francie Ebert’s compelling video footage.
